A lifelong resident of Baltimore, Dr. Foster can trace his family history here back generations. From his earliest days at the Gilman School, to his time at the University of Maryland College Park, Dr. Foster has always found a reason to call Maryland home. After graduating from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1980, he opened his first office on Harford Road soon after.

By 1995, the practice had grown large enough to need to expand by adding the Timonium office.

He and his wife Carol have four children: Carrie, Amy, Dennis III, and Owen. When not in the office, he can often be found on the tennis court.

Dr. Lauterbach has been in Baltimore for his entire career. His list of academic accomplishment stretches from a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the University of Maryland in 1967, then to a Masters in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins in 1969. He followed those with a dental degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1974. After spending 36 years in his own private practice in Timonium, he joined the Foster Dental Group in 2001.

In addition to his dental practice, Dr. Lauterbach has been an adjunct professor in Chemistry at Stevenson University for 10 years, and has previously been a Chemistry professor at Towson University for 2 years and at the Community College of Baltimore County for 10 years.

He is married to Janice and has 4 grown children and three grandchilden. His hobbies include flying, travel, kayaking, birding, playing bridge.

Born in Baltimore, Dr. Saleem spent her childhood in New Jersey. Following dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, she completed a residency in general dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School. In 1998 she joined the team at the Foster Dental Group.

She and her husband Fayz have a daughter Saara and will welcome twins in late 2010. Before her growing family demanded all of her free time, she often enjoyed outdoor activities like hiking, camping and kayaking.
